It's now decided that VTI will establish a presence at Campus Skellefteå, bringing their expertise in eMobility to our region. They have a long history of pioneering research in these fields that will help bolster our mission.
“It feels great to welcome VTI as a strategic partner. Their broad and deep knowledge in eMobility will be a tremendous asset as we collaborate on research and innovation projects. Together we aim to support the green transition here in northern Sweden and also explore solutions that can be scaled globally,” says Tobias Vahlne, Director at ACE.

We're excited that VTI is recruiting a researcher with coordination responsibility who’ll be based at Campus Skellefteå and will coordinate future projects within eMobility. The recruitment is underway and we expect to have the researcher up and running by the first half of next year.
“Our commitment in northern Sweden will focus on solutions that integrate transport systems with energy and power systems. However, VTI has a broad research agenda and sees opportunities to contribute in other areas as well. This is just the beginning," says Magnus Berglund, Head of Research at VTI.
Another person excited about taking the cooperation to the next level is our Program Manager for eMobility.
”Having VTI on board as a strategic partner is great news and a natural next step considering our history together. We’re very happy with the research projects we’ve planned and conducted with VTI so far. And are looking forward to expanding the collaboration further,” adds Marcus Björling.
